Beth Piver and Andy Vick are a husband and wife team of artists who have created a wide range of contemporary artwork for more than 20 years. They are best known for their mixed-metal jewelry, which have been carried by galleries and craft stores all over the country and overseas. Constructed primarily from silver, copper, brass and bronze, the jewelry is all assembled by hand using cold-connections. This technique, which uses rivets, nuts and bolts instead of soldering, gives their work an unusual texture and a striking visual aesthetic. Many of their pieces also incorporate spinning or moving parts to accent the jewelry's whimsical nature. Like the jewelry, their mixed-media sculpture is constructed from a variety of metals, as well as wood, computer-generated imagery and all kinds of unusual found objects.

Growing up an Air Force brat, Beth has lived and traveled all over the country and parts of Asia. After graduating from the University of Illinois and prior to her full-time involvement in fine art and crafts, she had extensive experience in graphic design and advertising. In addition to her passion for the arts, Beth is also an accomplished hula-hooper, and has taught a number of hooping workshops and produced many hooping videos and tutorials.

Andy grew up in Evanston, Illinois and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in medieval history. Andy is currently the executive director of the Allegany Arts Council, which is based in Cumberland, Maryland. In addition to his job at the Allegany Arts Council, Andy serves as the co-Coordinator for the Arts & Entertainment District in both Downtown Cumberland and Downtown Frostburg. He also supports the arts at the State-level through his role as a Board member of Maryland Citizens for the Arts, and the Maryland Tourism Development Board.
