Medium:  Folkart style wood carving

I am a retired railroad mechanic and have wood carved for 20 years. I've tried all sorts of woods and carving. Currently I'm carving decoys, folk art style birds and animals, in addition to utensils. These are usually painted in acrylic paints and then antiqued or waxed.
