WATERCOLOR, FIBER
With or without an interested observer to watch her work, Nancy Biggs enjoys exploring and discovering what color does as it joins another color, side by side, or entwining, on paper or in fiber, controlled or spontaneous. Her finished items interpret views of life ranging from whimsical to serene.
She has been painting with watercolor for over twenty-five years and will be showing matted as well as framed pictures. She is eager to share with you her knowledge of the processes involved in the dyeing of wool and fabric and her experiences with creating textile art.
Each of her works of art is one-of-a-kind. The method and style vary with what she wishes to explore at that moment in time to see where it leads. Nothing is consistent-all is searching. All exists only once.
Nancy's work may be seen in the member's gallery sections at:
and at Mountain City Traditional Arts in Downtown Frostburg.
